In 1988, Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer formed the band 3 with bassist / vocalist Robert Berry. That year they released one album, The Power of Three. This set was recorded on 14th April 1988 at the legendary Ritz nightclub in NYC in support of that album’s release.

This 11-track set makes its vinyl debut as a double-LP and features some classic ELP tracks along with cover versions of The Byrds' Eight Miles High and the 4 Tops Standing in the Shadows of Love.
