Use Your Illusion I and II were the third and fourth albums by Guns N' Roses, originally released on 17th September 1991.

Use Your Illusion I found Axl Rose ranting on songs about being sued by a neighbour (Right Next Door to Hell), dysfunctional relationships (Back off Bitch), and a drug overdose (Coma). The band scored three top 40 hits with a Wings cover (Live and Let Die), a piano-driven, Elton Hohn-flavoured epic (November Rain), and a hard-edged ballad (Don't Cry). Celebrity cameos include a then unknown Shannon Hoon, Hanoi Rocks' Mike Monroe, and Alice Cooper, who makes a particularly sinister contribution to The Garden.

Use Your Illusion II finds Axl Rose howling at the editors of Spin, Kerrang, and Hit Parader magazines on the rollicking Get in the Ring, and addresses the inherent pitfalls of fame on Izzy Stradlin's scathing Pretty Tied Up (the Perils of Rock n' Roll Decadence). Elsewhere, they tackle an old Dylan nugget (Knockin' on Heaven's Door), and tracks cut for charity and soundtracks (Civil War, You Could Be Mine), and an underrated masterpiece about heartbreak that manages to emote both indignation and sorrow without sounding pathetic (Estranged).

Super deluxe editions feature a total of 97 tracks - including 63 unreleased audio and video cuts. The Use Your Illusion I and II albums are remastered for first-time ever, while two live concerts - Live in New York and Live in Las Vegas - are released in full for the first time. The Live in New York Blu-ray features the full concert film in HD with surround and stereo audio. Each set also includes a 100-page hardcover book with unreleased photos and images, a replica Conspiracy Inc fan club kit, 10 double-design lithos, four backstage passes and much more.
