I'd originally planned to open this mailout by looking ahead to a fabulous musical summer... but whether with sunshine beaming through my window and yet another top batch of records fresh in our racks, it certainly feels as though the season has arrived early!

This week's standouts include an exciting collaborative record from Mark Pritchard & Thom Yorke, the latest effort from 21st century indie royalty Arcade Fire, the long-awaited return of Welsh post-hardcore legends mclusky and a new album from enduringly popular indie favs The Kooks, plus new records from The Amazons, Das Koolies, Counting Crows, Behemoth, Kali Uchis, Preoccupations and many others!

In case you missed it, since our last New Releases mailout we've announced another exciting instore show! The legendary Turin Brakes will be visiting Reflex on Sunday 1st June for a special stripped-back performance, meet 'n' greet and signing session - and all you have to do to is pre-order new album Spacehopper for entry!

With local singer-songwriter Ruth Lyon also visiting us instore on Wednesday 18th June, and cult Welsh trio Cardinal Black playing an exclusive Reflex outstore at Cluny 2 on Wednesday 28th May, there's plenty of opportunities to pair new records with terrific live music!
