The wait is almost over... Record Store Day 2025 takes place this Saturday!
Whether you're a RSD veteran or are celebrating for the first time, are a Reflex regular or will be paying your maiden visit, we can't wait to welcome you all on the biggest date of the independent record shop calendar!
2024 was our most successful RSD to date, and if anything we expect this year to be even bigger, with well over 400 exclusive vinyl releases on offer from the likes of Taylor Swift, Oasis and Charli XCX - not to mention this year's official RSD UK ambassador, Geordie hero Sam Fender.
Our store room is crammed, and some of us are handling the constant trips up and down the stairs better than others... but come Saturday we'll all be fit, firing and ready to go!
We're opening at 8am, and will be running our usual checklist system.
Lists are available instore, and can also be viewed/downloaded here. Simply tick or highlight the items you'd like, hand it in on the day, and we'll do the rest! (For what it's worth, our backroom pickers LOVE highlighters!). Oh, and don't forget to write your name on the top!
All the usual rules apply: RSD items are limited to one-per-person on a first-come-first-served basis, with no pre-orders or reservations.
If you're planning on coming along early, please be sure not to disturb our neighbours, and refrain from blocking entrances to the Grainger Market or other businesses.

FAQs:
What time do you open?
We open at 8am, and close at 5:30pm.
What time should I get there?
That depends entirely on how much you want the releases on your list! Our queue usually begins to form in the early hours. You may need to arrive very early to secure some of the more limited titles.
I forgot my list / I don't have a printer / I couldn't pick one up instore...
Fear not! We'll have spare lists to hand out while you're queuing!
How many copies of [insert release] do you have?
We can't share exact numbers for individual releases, but we're happy to give you an idea if it helps you determine what time to arrive. For example, we have lots of Taylor Swift, Sam Fender and Charli XCX, but you'll probably need to arrive VERY early if you'd like to get your hands on the Wicked soundtrack...
Can I pre-order/reserve a release?
Sorry, but no. All RSD items are available instore only on a first-come-first-served bases. Them's the rules. Always have been. No exceptions.
Can I order online?
All our remaining stock will be available to order online from 8pm on Monday 14th April. Until then, all RSD releases are available instore only. Many titles will have sold out by the time online sales begin, so we'd recommend visiting us instore if you can!
How long will I have to queue?
This isn't something we can offer a concrete answer to. However, we've developed a pretty efficient system over the years and have extra staff on the day, so we'll serve you all as quickly as possible. Don't be intimidated by the queue! Not everyone will want the same releases as you! Our queue is usually gone by lunchtime.
What do you do to combat flippers/eBay sellers etc?
We serve all our customers in good faith (we're well aware that some of you want A LOT on RSD!), however, we do reserve the right not to fulfil requests if we have good reason to suspect there's flipping going on. All RSD items are strictly limited to one-per-person, so nobody can purchase a single item in bulk, and in some rare cases the number of items you purchase may have to be limited.
Do you have any copies of [insert release] left?
On the day, we'll do our best to respond to questions like this over the phone or on social media in a timely manner. However, please bear in mind that RSD is our busiest day of the year, and we'll have all hands on deck serving customers as well as answering phone/social media questions. Bear with us!
Can I buy non-RSD items?
Of course - please do!
