Six best selling titles in Soul Jazz Records' Studio One series are now back in print. The Studio One series features a roll call of nearly every important reggae artist to ever come out of Jamaica. Some of these titles have been unavailable ever since their first release up to 20 years ago.

The Studio One DJ's album returns to the roots of reggae music - the soundsystem. Throughout the late 1950s and 1960s soundsystems played throughout the city of Kingston, Jamaica. They were the birth place of much of Jamaica's musical culture - soundclashes, dancehall and the idea of the toaster who sang over records - the DJ. As ever, Clement 'Sir Coxsone' Dodd led the field.
