Black Slate are a reggae band based in the United Kingdom which formed in 1974 and included musicians from England, Jamaica, and Anguilla. In 1980, the group released the album Amigo, which secured their reputation as one of Europe'€™s leading contemporary reggae outfits and featured a trio of hits in Sticks Man, Mind Your Motion and Amigo.
