Although technically their ninth album, most of the songs on The Psychedelic Swamp were among the first ever written by Scott McMicken and Toby Leaman, along with an assemblage of friends and musical cohorts that would evolve as Dr. Dog over the years.

In a sense, then, it could equally be seen as the group'€™s first album, but that if the originally Psychedelic Swamp was half-baked back in 2001, it has been reborn in 2016, fully baked. Moreover, it'€™s a much-anticipated concept album Dr. Dog loyalists have heard rumours of for years!
