During the '80s Felt recorded 10 albums and 10 singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels. This gorgeously-produced reissue series explores the work of one of the greatest indie groups in recent memory.

Released in 1988, Train Above the City is the group'€™s ninth studio album. The record does not feature frontman Lawrence in any musical capacity. He provided only the track titles (except for Run Chico Run, which is credited to Wenzel Brown). The music, all instrumental and in a jazz style, was written and performed by keyboardist Martin Duffy and drummer/percussionist Gary Ainge.
