Peaceville to release picture disc vinyl of Anathema's second studio album to coincide with the release of their 11th studio album on kscope.

Anathema have spent the vast majority of their career making music that defies description. Formed in the mid '€˜90s, they have risen to become one of the UK'€™s most cherished and critically acclaimed rock bands.

The Silent Enigma, Anathema'€™s second studio album, was originally released in the summer of '€˜95 and is the first release on which guitarist Vincent Cavanagh took over the vocal duties of the departed Darren White. Where Darren'€™s vocals were guttural, Vincent'€™s style pushed the possibilities for Anathema onwards and upwards, with a scope and breadth beyond his years.

With atmospheric and often emotional gothic doom cuts like the spawning classics Restless Oblivion, Sunset of Age, The Silent Enigma and A Dying Wish, the record remains a favourite within the doom metal scene, and is now available in a limited run picture disc format.
